News and Reminders

Litter picking 15 November

Some of our pupils have been litter picking in our local area, focusing mainly on Small Drove. This week we collected two bags of rubbish. Thank you to WASUP (Walsall Against Single Use Plastics) for funding our litter picking equipment, which enables us to keep our local streets clean and free from plastic.

Class Collective Worship 15 November

Well done to Birch Class for their fantastic Collective Worship this morning. It was great to hear what they have learnt about the Roman invasion of Britain, and how this has helped them answer their Big Question 'Do Invasions Change Countries Forever?’ The children spoke about the lasting impact of Roman rule in Britain, including architecture and language, as well as leading reflection and prayer on the impact of change in our lives.

Harvest Festival

We had a wonderful time at our harvest festival. Maple class shared paintings of their favourite fruits and vegetables, Willow class read out their harvest poems and Birch class shared some amazing facts about how harvest is celebrated in Judaism. The children’s singing and dancing was a particular highlight. Thank you to all who attended and for the generous donations of food, which will be donated to a local food bank. You can see pictures on our Harvest Festival Gallery page

Baytree Garden Centre

Thank you to Baytree Garden Centre for providing us with daffodil bulbs, compost and pots. The children had a fantastic afternoon planting them and are looking forward to seeing them grow in the spring! See more pictures on our Gallery page.

Macmillan Coffee Morning

Thank you to all those who supported our Macmillan Coffee morning.  We are delighted to announce that we raised £100.92!  Thank you so much for all the donations of cakes and to those who attended for your generosity. You can see more pictures on our Gallery page.
