News and Reminders
New Uniform 23 February
It was fantastic to welcome the children to school in their new uniforms after the half term break!
Dodgeball 31 Janaury
We were delighted to welcome John Hayes MP to our school earlier this month. He visited classes to see some of our lessons, had a tour of the school and met with our leadership team to discuss the changes we have made since joining Weston St Mary.
He also met with our School Parliament, who asked him lots of questions about his role as an MP. This included questions such as ‘What has been your best moment as an MP so far?’ and ‘Have you met the Queen?’!
School Parliament Fundraising
We are pleased to announce that the following money was raised during last term:
- Royal British Legion Poppy Appeal - £50.35
- Christingle - £50.02
- Christmas Jumper Day - £27.45
Staying Safe and Healthy:

School Closures due to weather or emergencies.
The decision to close the school is never taken lightly. We appreciate that many pupils live within walking distance of the school but we also have to take account of where our staff live and their ability to travel to and from school safely in order to ensure the safety of our pupils.
Once the decision has been taken to close the school, parents will receive a text/email and the information will be broadcast on local radio - Lincs FM and BBC Radio Lincs. The radio station's websites will also be updated as will the Local Authority website.
