Lunches

school lunches

Lunchtime is between 12:00 and 1:00pm for EYFS and KS1 and 12:15 – 1:00pm for KS2. Lunch is eaten in the hall, where good manners and table etiquette are encouraged. The children are cared for by our Midday Supervisors throughout the lunch break, in the hall and on the playground. Our Midday Supervisors are always on the lookout for children who are well mannered, kind, polite and helpful so Golden Tickets can be awarded.

Our hot lunches are provided by Willoughby Foods.

Free School Meals

Parents do not have to pay for school lunches if they receive a range of income based benefits. If you feel that you may qualify, please speak to staff in the School Office.

Universal Infant Free School Meals

It is currently Government policy for all children in Reception, Year 1 and Year 2 to receive free meals. This is different from “Free School Meals”. Parents are still required to order meals in advance as described above.

Packed Lunches

If your child brings a packed lunch to school, please send it in a suitable lunch box or bag with a plastic drinks bottle. We encourage healthy eating in school, therefore, please do not send sweets, fizzy drinks or energy drinks into school.
